This publication updates and replaces the former editions (prior to year 2004) of Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction – and includes the Standard Drawings.

The Public Works Construction Standards Publication represents over two decades of volunteer efforts of public works professionals to develop uniform standards for public works construction in North Central Texas.

Public Works Construction Standards are kept up-to-date and new technologies are reviewed through committees comprised of both public and private public works professionals from the region.

The Public Works Construction Standards North Central Texas is a copyrighted document and may not be photocopied, printed, or otherwise reproduced, in whole or in part without the prior written approval of NCTCOG's Director of Environment & Development. 

Before purchasing, please be sure this 4th version is the set of standards you need, and not the alternate product of the updated 2017 Fifth Edition or Amended 2023 Fifth Edition.
